Mr. Muhammad Raza is the Managing Director, BKEF. He received his LLM degree from Georgetown University (GU), Washington D.C. with distinction in May 2006. He was on the Dean’s List of the GU Law Centre (2005), and also obtained a Certificate in International Human Rights Law during the same period. He has been the winner of Fulbright Scholarship award and was among the three Fulbright nominees for the New Leaders Group Award for International Understanding, 2005-2006. He is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), and the International Law Society of GU.
Before joining GU, he discharged duties as an in-house legal counsel for the University of Peshawar. In volunteer capacity, he had been associated with the Human Right Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) as consultant on Afghan Desk at Peshawar. He was among the founding members of a private education system, founded in 1997, that aimed at providing education to the under-served areas of NWFP and has worked on legal, administrative, socio-cultural and political issues of Pakistan, particularly the NWFP, the federally administered tribal area (FATA), and Afghanistan; and have written several articles.

Brig. Muhammad Ishaq is the Executive Director, BKEF. He received his Masters Degree from the Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad. He had been Director Personnel in general headquarters Rawalpindi and served as a Military Secretary to Governor Balochistan. He has authored several articles on military and non-military subjects which were published from time to time. For overall recognition of his unrelenting excellent performance I was awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), by the Government of Pakistan and served as the Chairman, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Peshawar and as the Chairman Inter Board Committee of Chairman, Pakistan.

Colonel Faiz Muhammad Afridi

Mr. Faiz Muhammad Afridi is the Director Administration, BKEF. He joined the Pakistan Military Academy in 1971 and was commissioned in Pakistan Army in July 1972. He has served as a Manager Education, Fauji Foundation. After graduating from Staff College Quetta he served on a number of key positions for thirty years. He had been instructor at Pakistan Military Academy and school of infantry and tactics Quetta.

Mr. Jamila Gilani is the Deputy Director, PDA. She did MSc Psychology and B.Ed from University of Peshawar. She has worked with Human Rights Commission for peace and democracy for six years. She has got two years teaching experience as well.

Abid Jan

Mr. Abid Jan is the Deputy Director Curriculum at the BKEF. He received his Masters degree in Political Science in 1983 from the University of Peshawar. Then went to Leipzeg University Germany from where he received his Masters degree in Philosophy. He served as coordinator at the Rural Collective Developmental and Social Workers Council. He has authored many articles and a number of books, two of which have been published. He has been the winner of Khushhal Khan Khattak Award of 1994.

Mr Masood Afridi has worked as Manager Accounts for the Foundation. He received his Masters degree in Business Administration from Agriculture University Peshawar and has some experience of Government service also.

Engr. Bilal Karim

Mr. Bilal Karim is the Assistant Director, Management Information System (MIS). He did B.Sc Engineering in Computer Information Systems from N-W.F.P University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar in 2005.
He served as Data Processing Officer in LFA Project Malakand (Elementary Education Foundation) for more than one and a half year. He has worked with United Nations Funds for Population (UNFPA) as Networks Manager.
