Where the Adminstration is responsible for purchase and procurement of items and services for the schools and other segments of the BKEF, there it manages a number of other departments also that are engaged in efforts to add maximum out put to the system. The administration manages the following departments.
Management Information System Department (MISD)
In order to provide past, current and future course of action, BKEF has developed a Management Information System Department (MISD) that maintains software helpful in decision making, decision support systems, staff management and project management applications, and other computerized processes that enable the department to run efficiently.
Computer and information systems managers keep a record of planning and coordination of activities .it analyzes the needs of the organization from an operational and strategic perspective and determines immediate and long-range personnel and equipment requirements.
In Baacha Khan Education Foundation the Management Information System Department has been assigned the maintenance of records of all the Baacha Khan Schools. Web Site for Baacha Khan Education Foundation has been launched to ensure quick access to the system. Similarly a Database (Software) for Baacha Khan Education Foundation Directorate and Schools is under process and will be available soon which will help keep the record of all the employees in Directorate and Schools and record of students as well. The record of all the stock (Furniture, Electronic equipments and other accessories) in Directorate as well as Baacha Khan Education Foundation Schools has been computerized.
Media and Communication Strategy
Media and communication strategy is formulated by the Media and communication Department, headed by the MD, his assistant and a Media coordinator.
Communication Plan
The Media and communication Department undertakes the identification of significant individuals, groups, organizations, parties and states to be approached for the promotion of BKEF through research and surveys.
The BKEF has identified the following paths to be used for its promotion:
1. The creation of a constant stream of quality material in shape of news stories, columns, articles, videos, audios about BKEF's activities and services.
2. Making arrangements for printing of that material in effective newspapers.
3. The creation of electronic channel material and its dissemination in popular channels.
4. Strengthening BKEF's friendship and contact media men in newspapers and TV channels to assure projection of BKEF even with out direct dissemination of material from BKEF side.
5. Arranging special publicity events whether these are one to one meetings among celebrities or showing the best side of BKEF through various events and making sure the news reach to the target audience.
6. Arrangement of meetings between BKEF's senior management and significant national and international personas.
7. Publication of quarterly newsletter of the BKEF.
Volunteers Management Department
The need and popularity of BKEF’s community based schools projects can be measured through the support and interest it is receiving in the form of cash, kind and services. A number of volunteers are zealously rendering services in different departments for the promotion of its cause and BKEF, in turn is providing a chance for professional growth to those new in the field.
The Chief Executive, Brig. Ishaq, winner of prestigious Sitara-e-Imtiaz is working in honorary capacity.
Sana Fayyaza took start of her career with BKEF as Business Promotion Officer and she is working as a volunteer in the Marketting and Promotion Department.
Aisha Muazzam, student of intermediate, is another such contributor who is performing her duties as a teaching intern at BKS Charsadda, however BKEF has taken upon itself all her educational expenses in recognition of her affiliation to the foundation.
Impact Assessment Department
In view of unanticipated response from the Pakhtoon community to the,BKES, the BKEF is soon going to initiate Impact Assessment (IA) process. The IA process will be managed by IA Department and its function will be to provide a current snapshot of the BKES program and evaluation of the overall effectiveness of the undertaken activities.
