Baacha Khan School Charsadda

Qandeel’s father served in the armed forces of Pakistan and they lead a happy life. Conditions changed after her father’s death when they faced severe financial crisis. It was very difficult for her and her siblings to continue their studies. Her widow mother could only afford to send them to Government schools. Qandeel was, however, not satisfied with her studies at the Government school due to poor quality of education. She always wished she could study in a good school.

Saqib was admitted in grade 3 when Bacha Khan school was founded in their community. A very hardworking boy who showed infinite love for Pashto Language, he wasn’t only regular in Pashto classes but showed utmost interest in Pashto poetry as well as Bacha Khan’s book “My life and struggle.”

Uzlifat’s father is jobless with 9 people in the family to feed and no real source of income. They are 7 siblings and the responsibility of earning has thrust upon their shoulders. Her fortunes changed when she got admission in the craft center at Bacha Khan School Dargai Malakand Agency.

Nagina belongs to a lower middle class of Mathra village, Peshawar. Her father is a laborer and her mother is a house wife. Her parents were unable to send her to school but she was granted free education under the vulnerable project of the BKTEF supported by New Venture Fund. Nagina draws her inspiration from Malala and aims to support the vision and mission of Malala regarding girls’ education throughout her life.

Noreen belongs to a lower middle class of Charsadda. Her father is a tailor and her mother is a house wife. Her father was initially reluctant to send her to school but upon insistence of Noreen’s mother she was allowed to go to school. Noreen draws her inspiration from Baacha Khan and Malala.
