BKTEF Organises Five Days Political Leadership Workshop for the Youth of Bajaur and Momand

The Bacha Khan Trust Educational Foundation (BKTEF) organises five days Political Leadership Workshop for the youth of the newly merged districts Bajaur and Momand with the support of National Endowment for Democracy from 25th of February 2020 to 29th Feb 2020.

During the five days workshop comprehensive interactive sessions were conducted on human rights, political thought, democracy, 25th Amendment of the constitution of Pakistan, leadership skills, non-violence and KhudaiKhidmatgaar movement. Group activities were carried out on democracy and non-violence. Sessions were taken by MD BKTEF, Khadim Hussain, Dr. Mehran Wazir, Mr. Fazal Saeed and Dr. Ilam Khan.

The local elders and political leadership of Bajaur and Momand participated in both inaugural and concluding ceremonies. On average some 60 youth from Bajaur and Momand participated in the Political Leadership Workshop. The youth participants vowed during the concluding ceremony to work for democracy, peace and pluralism in their respective areas. They also committed to contribute to the social, political and literary activism in their areas.
