BKTEF holds monthly principals' meeting of BaachaKhan Schools

 

"The objective of the BKTEF was to develop the infrastructure for BK Schools and implementation of the alternative critical model of education in limited resources. We should be pleased that efforts of the faculty, BKTEF team and administrators of Baacha Khan Schools bore fruit and we succceded in establishing the model mainly with indigenous resources. The ultimate aim of th BKTEF is to replicate its alternative critical model of education in the public-sector government schools. We will now strive to achive our third aim, i.e. permeation of alternative critical model of education in the public-sector government schools”, said Dr. Khadim Hussain, Managing Director BKTEF, while concluding the monthly principals' meeting of Baacha Khan Schools held on July 6, 2018 at the head office of the BKTEF.

Participants of the meeting expressed satisfaction over the excellent results of students of all Baacha Khan Schools in 9th and 10th exams held by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar, Kohat, Malakand and Swat.

Detailed discussion was held on the issues of BK School Buildings. The principals of Baacha Khan Schools collectively suggested alternatives for the school building issues. They also shared their experiences about the sustainability of their schools and suggested new ways to handle the future challenges.

The ongoing Reading Skills Development Program and assessment system at Baacha Khan Schools were also discussed in detail. The need for documenting each step of the implementation of the Critical Model of Education was accentuated. The meeting was ended with vote of thanks by the MD BKTEF, Dr. Khadim Hussain.
