Political leadership training for Balochistan

Baacha Khan Trust Educational Foundation organizes (BKTEF) political leadership training for Balochistan.

The political leadership training was conducted by the BKTEF in Octbor 2016. More than fifty male and female youth of Balochistan participated in this training from three districts-Quetta, Zoab, and Klila Safiullha. The Participants belonged to different sections of the society. The aim of this training was to train the youth of Balochistan for building democratic leadership and promoting pluralism.

The Resource Persons for the five days training were the Managing Director of BKTEF, Mr Khadim Hussain , Research officer at BKTEF, Mr Imran Khan, Professor Barakat Shah, and well known Poet Darvish Durani.

There were five modules in this political Leadership training. The module on leadership skills consisted of communication skills, logical thinking and logical fallacies. Module on social evolution traced back evolution of human collectivity since time immemorial. Module on political concepts consisted of evolution of political thought and the concept of democratic governance. Gender construct was also discussed in this module. In the module on non violence and pluralism module, an elaborate discussion was carried out on diversity and pluralism.

On the last day of training, a Khudai Khidmatgari camp and theater were organized in the suburbs of Quetta. In the camp, the participants met people of the locality to discuss issues of their interests with them. The theater highlighted the social problems of the society. Moreover, the theater promoted the discourse of non-violence.
