BKTEF arranges Leadership Fellowship Seminar at Baacha Khan Trust Research Center

Leaders have the quality to identify logical fallacies that may be produced intentionally to miss guide the masses or that may be result of an untrained and an uncritical mind. Leaders strive to bring a positive social change through both philosophical and practical endeavors. Their philosophical paradigm of change rests on principle of working on the inner being of the people through peaceful means. Baacha Khan and his comrades stood fast on this principle throughout Khudai Khidmatgar Movement. Baacha Khan worked on the inner being of the people and raised their political consciousness to the degree that he made ineffective coercive and discursive ways of subjugation. That is why this movement was so powerful that British imperialism could not stand against it, said Dr. Khadim Hussain while speaking to the participants of the seminar arranged by the BKTEF at Baacha Khan Trust Research Centre on December 21, 2015.

The seminar was first of a series of fellowship seminars. Themes of the five days seminar included communication and argumentation skills, political theory, social evaluation of Pashtun society, Fundamental rights in the constitution of Pakistan, role of women in politics, role of media, and regional politics.

Eminent politicians, academics and prominent parliamentarians were speakers of the seminar. They shared their knowledge and experiences with the participants of the seminar. Speakers of the seminar included Dr. Khadim Hussain, Mr. Afrasiab Khattak, Mr. Sardar Hussain Babak, Mr. Imran Khan, Mr. Bashir Matta, MS BushraGohar, Mr. Mian Iftikhar Hussain and Prof. Dr. Ijaz Khatak.

The seminar ended with a vote of thanks from MD BKTEF Dr. Khadim Hussain.
