Baacha Khan Trust Educational Foundation

Introduction

Baacha Khan Trust Educational Foundation arranged re-union ceremony of the graduates of Baccha Khan School (BKS) Nauthia and Baacha Khan School (BKS) Gandighar at the Directorate on February, 27 2015. Dr.Khadim Hussain Managing Director BKTEF chaired the meeting. In the ceremony six students of BKS Nauthia and Nine students of BKS Gandigar attended the ceremony, Tayyaba Najeeb (Coordination and Training Officer), Mr.Imran Khan Curriculum Officer, Mr. FaheemUlla Assistant School Support Officer (Academics), Ms.Samina Rehman Assistant School Support Officer (Admin), Ms Aimen Riaz Assistant School Support Officer (counseling), Mr.Umair (intern School Management department), Ms Amina (intern School Management department), Members of School Management Department participated in the ceremony.

Themes of Discussion

Alumni curricular and co-curricular activities

Dr.Khadim Hussain put three questions in to discussion he asked about.

1. What are they doing?

2. What should be Objective?

3. What would have you change?

Students shared their experiences being as an ex-student of BKS, what have they learned throughout their journey, they appreciated that they have been remembered by the directorate, they remind their Culture classes and adore them as most interesting part of their learning in BKS, and consider themselves unique as compare to other School children. They appreciated Culture Education as a core part of BKS.

They shared about their current activities about spreading Baacha Khan’s peace philosophy and they were hopeful to enlighten the society with the teaching of Baacha Khan. They were enthusiastic to bring peace through culture of dialogue.

Discussion on forming BKS Alumni Network

The discussion was focused on to provide BKS Alumni a platform to promote the Baacha Khan Pardigham.

Students expressed deep affiliation with their schools; they gave credit to their schools for enhancing their self-esteem and building positive personality, and they were eager to work with BKS administration to support them doing work for the benefit and flourishing their school students.

Results/Discussion

Structuring BKS Alumni

Structure was formed for the Alumni Association, Objects and Activities were collectively discussed. Each school elected their school coordinator Ms.Maria zeb sub coordinator Bks Nauthia, Mr Wajid Ahmad sub coordinator Bks Gandighar, and Ms Aimen Riaz Chief Coordinator from Directorate (Asso Counseling School management department).

Meeting of all alumni will be twice a year in summer vocations and winter vocations respectively.
