Peshawar: The Baacha Khan Trust Educational celebrated THE INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR CHILD GIRLS today in all 14 Baacha Khan Schools with 4000 students across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA by organizing walks and vigil and PRAYING for Malala Yousafzai along with highlighting importance of girls education and secure prosperous future for child girls.

The Managing Director Baacha Khan Trust Educational Foundation Dr Khadim Hussain participated in a walk of students from Baacha Khan Model Girls High School Nauthia to Chowk Fawara Peshawar Saddar. He emphasized upon girls education as they are much more important as boys are. He further said that Baacha Khan Trust Educational Foundation has four objectives. The first one is to create a discourse of Human Dignity and Human Values. The second one is to promote & appreciate collective wisdom and collective decision making values in which cultural and religious diversity is ensured. The third one is to make indigenous and historical continuation and indigenous wisdom part of education and institutional building. The fourth one is to provide similar political and economical opportunities to both males and females.

Dr. Khadim Hussain further told that Malala Yousafzai is a symbol of resistance against fundamentalism, extremism and terrorism. Also a symbol of liberalism, wisdom, knowledge & creativity. He further told that thousands of students of Baacha Khan Schools run under Baacha Khan Trust Educational Foundation are praying for her health.
